Lessons have been assigned to them based on their diagnostic test results both in Math and Reading. Within each lesson are brain break games. The district is pushing a goal of 45 minutes per week on Online Lessons in ELA and 45 minutes per week in Math to close the gaps found in the diagnostic. Math and ELA are providing some of that time during the week, but not all.
WHAT ARE WE LEARNING: App Development...What are apps? How do we interact with them? What kinds of things do apps do?
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: Apps are designed to solve a problem by providing a service
Entertainment: images, movies, tv shows, etc.
Social: social media, chatting
Commerce: marketplaces
Finding Information: search engines, maps

Once on your DASHBOARD...
Scroll down to find CLASSROOM SELECTIONS
Select:
Intro to App Lab
As you follow along in the lesson, you will use a form to answer the questions from the lesson! (below)
Click and Play VIDEO
Once complete...click CONTINUE
With each section in the LESSON, follow the instructions on the top of the page
Click RUN and try the app...
Then click FINISH to move to the next section in the lesson
Note: It is important to go through each section/app and watch the videos to understand how to use and program apps!
Make sure you have
completed the code.org assignment/form with link to get credit!

Then CLICK THE CODE button (top left on the above the app)
Now code the button to return to startScreen!
NOW DO THE SAME FOR THE RIGHT SCREEN!
Don't forget to test it by clicking RUN!
