Lessons have been assigned to them based on their diagnostic test results both in Math and Reading. Within each lesson are brain break games. The district is pushing a goal of 45 minutes per week on Online Lessons in ELA and 45 minutes per week in Math to close the gaps found in the diagnostic. Math and ELA are providing some of that time during the week, but not all.

WHAT ARE WE LEARNING: TinkerCAD, an easy-to-use 3D CAD design tool !
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: Gives the user the ability to take something that's 3D and represent it in 2D. It is essential to all industries that use 3D modeling like architects, engineers and game designers!
HOW WILL MY TEACHER KNOW WHAT I LEARNED: You will complete starter lessons on TinkerCAD and soon answer questions based on what you completed!

Click +CREATE...3D Design
Name it...
On the top left corner, click the name to change it to BUNNY RING
On the top left corner, click the name to change it to BUNNY RING
TIP! (before you begin!)
Change your Snap Grid to 0.25 mm
INSIDE OF RING
Bring an orange Cylinder on to the workplane
Make it a HOLE (shortcut: press H on keyboard!)
Change the DIAMETER to 17 mm
OUTSIDE OF RING
Bring another orange Cylinder on to the workplane
Change the DIAMETER to 21 mm
Click the bottom center align handle
Click the Left center align handle
ALIGN
Select BOTH cylinders (should see Shapes(2) in the Inspector box)
Select the ALIGN TOOL
Center ALIGN the two cylinders by clicking the bottom center align handle and left center align handle!
GROUP
With BOTH cylinders selected (should see Shapes(2) in the Inspector box)
Select the GROUP ICON (or press CTRL + G)
HEIGHT
Change the HEIGHT to 4 mm (click the TOP WHITE HANDLE)
ROTATE
Rotate the ring 90° (type 90 in the box!)
Press D on the keyboard to bring the ring UP onto the workplane!
Bunny Ear shape...where is it?
Click the pull down menu on the BASIC SHAPES menu on the right
Select CREATURES & CHARACTERS
Scroll down
Find BUNNY EAR & BENT BUNNY EAR
You might need to click MORE SHAPES!
Then, click MORE SHAPES (2x) to find the BENT BUNNY EAR
Put a Bunny Ear and a Bent Bunny Ear on the workplane!
Click the Left top align handle
ALIGN
Select the Ring and both Bunny Ears
Select the ALIGN TOOL
ALIGN the shapes by clicking the left top align handle! (this will align the shapes to the back row)
Click on the workplane to deselect
Move the Ears UP
Click and pull Ears up off the workplane by pulling the black cone up
Enter 19 mm in the box
Note: you can do this individually or select both and do it at the same time!
Move the ears left with the arrow keys!
Select and move with Arrow Keys
Select the First bunny ear
Use the Left Arrow key to move the ear to the left on the ring
TIP: Hold the shift key as you press the arrow keys to move faster!
Select ALL shapes and GROUP!
Select ALL 3 shapes and press the GROUP icon (CTRL = G)
Make it PINK!
With the Bunny ring selected, click the Solid color in the Inspector box and change it to PINK
IT MUST BE PINK TO GET CREDIT!
WAIT!
Add your name to the workplane!
Click on the TEXT tool on the right and drag over onto the workplane
Press the HOME (house) VIEW BUTTON to set the workplane so your teacher can see the entire workplane!
YOUR NAME MUST BE ON THE WORKPLANE TO GET CREDIT!!!

ONCE EACH LESSON IS COMPLETED!
Click the HOME BUTTON to view your entire workplane
Click SEND TO (on the TOP RIGHT!)
Click the DOWNLOAD BUTTON!
This will download your Workplane file (it will be named bunny ring.png) and all created upon it to your DOWNLOADS folder!
Go to our Classroom in TEAMS
Select Assignments
Select
TinkerCAD: Bunny Ring!
Note: you will be attaching 1 file!
Scroll down to MY WORK
Click +ATTACH
Click UPLOAD FROM THIS DEVICE
Select DOWNLOADS (on the left)
Find the downloaded file and select it (it should be called Bunny Ring.png)
Click OPEN
Wait for file to upload
File will show up below under My Work
CLICK TURN IN!
NOTE: There MUST be a file (download of project) attached to get credit. Simply clicking TURN IN will not do!!!
Make sure you COMPLETE the LESSON and attach file to assignment TEAMS to get CREDIT!
